    🍍Ingredients

The ingredients needed to make Spicy Pineapple Margarita labeled and sitting on a marble surface.
    • Silver tequila
    • Fresh Pineapple juice
    • Orange liqueur (like Triple Sec or Grand Marnier)
    • Jalapeño peppers
    • Pineapple chunks (garnish)
    • fresh jalapeño slices, garnish
    • Tajin chile powder (or regular chile powder)
    • Lime
    • Ice

In Mexican cuisine, the margarita is a symbol of celebration, enjoyment, and vibrant flavors.

Fresh lime juice makes a great addition here, but only optional. Also consider using grilled pineapple for another layer of flavor.

Consider using a splash of simple syrup to sweeten up the dirnk.

    👩🏼‍🍳 Instructions

Rubbing the rim of the glass with a lime
    • Rub the rim of a glass with a lime wedge.

Fresh lime is essential for this spicy margarita. It’ll act as the glue for the chile powder.

This is one of the easiest margarita recipes to make. Make a big pitcher!

Dipping the glass into the chili powder
    • Pour Tajin (or chile powder) on a small plate.
    • Press the rim of the glass into the Tajin until well coated.

You can also use a salt rim or substitute with sugar.

    How to Make a Pitcher

Let’s say you get ten glasses of 10-ounce servings per pitcher. Use 2 cups of silver tequila, 1 ¼ cup pineapple juice, ⅔ cup orange liqueur, and 1 sliced jalapeno. Muddle the jalapeno with some of the pineapple juice. Pour the jalapeno mixture into pitcher along with the rest of the ingredients. Stir and serve into prepared glasses with ice.

    Muddling the jalapeño slices
    • Place jalapeño slices into a cocktail shaker.
    • Using a muddler or the handle of a wooden spoon, muddle the jalapeño slices.

Where sweetness meets spice for a taste of paradise.

Slice the fresh jalapeños. You’ll later garnish the glass with a number of jalapeno slices.

🔥 How to adjust the heat

Use only 1 jalapeno spice for mild spice. For a spicy drink, use 2 jalapeno slices. 3-4 jalapeno slices for really hot.

    Mixing Spicy Pineapple Margarita Ingredients
    • Add tequila, pineapple juice, orange liquor, and fresh ice.
    • Shake until the outside of the shaker mists.
    • Add ice and 1 or 2 jalapeño slices to the glass, and garnish with a pineapple chunk.
    • Pour the margarita into the glass.

This perfect margarita is one of the most delicious cocktails that you can make at home. It’s a great way to enjoy fresh fruit with a bit of heat.

With the first sip, your taste buds come alive with the perfect blend of fresh pineapple flavor and a subtle heat that sparks your senses.

    🙋🏻‍♀️ Frequently Asked Questions

Can I make a non-alcoholic version of this Pineapple Margarita?

Absolutely! Simply replace the tequila with pineapple juice or sparkling water for a delicious mocktail that still captures the tropical and spicy essence of the original recipe.

    Is this margarita extremely spicy?

The spice level can be adjusted to suit your taste. By removing the seeds from the jalapeño and adding it gradually, you can control the level of heat. Start with one slice and add more if you want it spicier. You can also substitute serrano chile for the jalapenos.

Does the type of tequila make a big difference in this fresh margarita?

Yes. The best way to make a good margarita is to take the extra step of choosing good tequila. I prefer silver but some people like to use blanco tequila (white tequila).
