    Substitutions

✔️ No fresh cherries? Thaw frozen ones and use this recipe as normal.

✔️ Instead of sugar, consider a splash of simple syrup.

✔️ If you don’t have limeade, juice 1 lime and adjust with sugar. Or swap out for lemonade.

✔️ Don’t have a cocktail shaker? Simply mix in a regular glass. It’ll still be just as delicious.

    🫙 Storing Instructions

This cocktail is best enjoyed fresh, but you can prepare the cherry purée in advance. Store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. When ready to serve, just shake it with vodka, limeade, and soda for a quick and easy drink.

    🙋🏻‍♀️ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Can I make this cocktail without alcohol?

Yes! Simply leave out the vodka and add more limeade or soda for a tasty mocktail version.

What can I use instead of fresh cherries?

Frozen cherries work perfectly. Just thaw them before blending.

Can I substitute limeade with lemonade?

Absolutely. Lemonade will give the drink a slightly different, sweeter flavor but still taste delicious. Another idea is to omit the sugar, lemonade, and club soda in this recipe and use 1 cup of lemon soda.
