It’s not a party unless there’s a bowl of Creamy Guacamole and bag of chips on the table. I know some of you run on Latino time and have to pick up something made at the deli, then stick it on a pretty plate and call it yours. That’s not me or you, of course. Don’t you see my halo? Making guac is easy… (let me rephrase that)… EASY to make, and it’s a guaranteed crowd pleaser. Why not make it at home?
The deli section at the store is awesome. You don’t need to preach to the choir. I’m a busy mom… and can I just add, that everyone wants a bigger house, but that only means more to clean. UGH!… I’m a very, very busy mom, but I’m kinda picky when it comes to food. I want my hubs and my son to eat good food to counterbalance all bad stuff they eat at business lunches and who knows what my son traded his apple for during lunch time. Which brings me back to the deli. I look at the green container with “creamy guacamole,” and it’s something that makes you go… Hmmmm? Making it fresh is the only way to go. You control the spice. You control the lime.
I don’t have an avocado tree in my backyard, but I did growing up. I remember ripe avocados that fell from the tree and splattered on the floor. Oh, the horror! We had avocado everything. My mom probably invented avocado toast. This Creamy Guacamole recipe tastes like something my mom would make. If you want it super creamy, put all the ingredients in a food processor and let ‘er rip. For me, I’m old school. I use a fork and mash away. Holy guacamole! It is SO good! No party needed. Just hand me a bag of chips and some Netflix, and I’m in heaven. Hope you enjoy!
