Rice Chex cereal in a bowl

This weekend, I have 3 Holiday parties, and I had to turn down a 4th invitation. I just can’t make them all. On top of that, 2 out of the 3 are potlucks. I love all the Christmas fun, but sometimes, it can be a bit TOO MUCH especially with a little guy in tow.

Each year, I always tell myself to prepare, and I do have a few things in the freezer ready to be pulled out. In my neighborhood, you just never know who will pop by unannounced. Gotta have those goodies on hand like these Chex Muddy Buddies.

I made Chex Muddy Buddies the other day, and left them out on the countertop. I guess that was my mistake. I should know better with my family. LOL. They were gone within hours, and here, I was saving them for this weekend’s festivities. Thank goodness they are easy to make. Guess I know now to make two batches next time. 🙂 Store them in an air tight container so they won’t go bad quickly and decorate it with a bow. Get the kiddos to help in the making and wrapping. Makes great hostess gift. Hope you enjoy this easy dessert recipe!
