Football Tailgate with Red Baron Pizza

I’m obsessed with two things right now: football and my Avocado Cilantro Dip. I’ll start with football. My dad and brothers were/ are big into sports. As a kid, being the only girl, I decided to join them, and a football fanatic was born. We have parties at the house on Sundays and invite all our friends for some TV viewing and rivalry trash talking. Ha. Tons of fun on Sunday Funday!

    Shopping at Walmart fridge aisle

Me, as the foodie in the group, I’m in charge of food. Most Sundays, I will start cooking the night before. For last week’s game, though, I took some help from the frozen section at Walmart. Can you blame a girl for wanting to watch more football?

    Red Baron Brick Oven Pepperoni

Stick the Red Baron pizza in the oven and VOILA! Instant happy guests. It’s got a great crust that’s not too thin and not too thick. But if you’re like me, and need something extra to compliment with your pizza, you have to try my Avocado Cilantro Dip. It’s amazing! No, I’m not just saying that. It is worth every calorie.

Dipping pizza in the Avocado Cilantro Dip

How my Avocado Cilantro Dip came about is a funny story. My Little Red is the pickiest eater in the world, and he was over the hummus and carrots combo. I wanted him to eat some carrots and had some avocados on hand. I had to run out the next day and buy more avocados. We finished the entire thing in one sitting. Put it on celery, sandwiches, chips, and PIZZA!

The 4th quarter was the sitting-on-the-edge-of-your-seat kind. It was just what you want when you’re eating dessert. In our case, an Edwards Hershey Chocolate Creme Pie. Yum!!!! … I love football. 🙂
