Growing up, I hated everything my mom had to say. Oh yeah, I was THAT kid… It was always about something I did or didn’t do right. It wasn’t until I got older and had my son that I realized she had some good advice… Lately, I’ve been reading on the health benefits of milk and milk recipes. It made me start thinking about my son and how he sees my advice. HA!
My favorite mom advice: create routines for your child’s success in school. My little guy has a pretty good routine, or at least, I think so. He pushes me hard to stay up until 10pm. Ummm.. no! Or, “¿Podemos jugar afuera?” It’s dark outside, you’re not going outside. I feel like having a routine helps us both. Helps me keep my sanity and him to get the most out of school and his day. It makes me happy to know that my Little Red has a healthy (and easy-to-make) breakfast like this Berry Banana Smoothie in his tummy before he goes to school.
His morning routine often includes a smoothie, un licuado. This Berry Banana Smoothie is delicious and creamy. He loves it just as much as I do. Just put everything in the blender, and blend, blend, blend! Super fácil esta receta! This is one of those small, hand blender. Add the handle attachment and you drink right from the cup. !Que ingenio!
Milk Fuels a Better Future, and it starts with a good morning routine. He may not see it now, but I’m sure he’ll appreciate me and all that I do one day.
