I overindulged this Holiday season with tamales and buñuelos. It happens every year, and every year, I tell myself the same thing: I’m going to watch what I eat, and I do. I watch it go in my mouth. LOL! It’s healthy smoothie time, and I need to make a smooth transition into the new year. That means Green Ginger Smoothie. My friends, you are going to love this recipe.
Frankly speaking, my jeans are not happy with me. They feel neglected in my closet. They’re blue. (wink wink). This Green Ginger Smoothie will help me make friends with my jeans again. If it doesn’t, I have plenty of other smoothie recipes on the blog.
Instead of lunch or breakfast, we make smoothies. It’s not just for me and the hubs. We even got my Little Red into drinking smoothies. We bought several cool Nutribullet containers and leave them in the fridge. Then, we pull them out for a quick zap in the blender, and breakfast or lunch is served! It’s not about calorie reduction either. It’s about packing in a lot of nutrients to rebalance, regroup, and recover from the Holidays.
This Green Ginger Smoothie is a simple and ridiculously easy recipe. The Nutribullet mixer comes with a handle. Very convenient! Just mix, add handle, drink and enjoy! After the first sip, I immediately feel great, and I know you will too. Now, all I need is to hit the gym and go on more walks. Cheers to fueling a healthy and yummy 2018! Stay smooth, my friends.

Ginger is a good ingredient to add in as it helps to take out the cold air in our body. In fact in the Chinese culture, woman need to take in ginger daily for at least one month after birth. So you know how powerful ginger is for our health. So brilliant way to add in ginger in this drink and the name make me have a second look – Green Ginger. LOL. Well done.
