One Pot Mexican Mac n Cheese

Who doesn't love quick meals? This one pot dish is delicious, full of flavor, and easy to make. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ¼ onion diced
  • 1 garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons ground cumin
  • ½ jalapeño finely diced
  • 1 jar of your favorite salsa
  • salt and pepper
  • ½ cup frozen green peas
  • ½ box Kraft Mac n Cheese cooked
  • ½ bunch of cilantro chopped

Instructions

  • Cook Kraft Mac n Cheese as instructed on the package and set aside. You can also use leftovers.
  • Heat olive oil in skillet.
  • Add ground beef. Salt and pepper. Cook for 4-5 minutes until it’s no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
  • Add onion, garlic, cumin, jalapeño, salsa. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes. Taste for good measure.
  • Add Kraft Mac n Cheese. Combine the mixture.
  • Add green peas. Cook for 1 minute or until no longer frozen.
  • Top with cilantro.
  • Remove from heat and serve.

Notes

You can also use mac n cheese leftovers 
You can make it not spicy.
