One Pot Mexican Mac n Cheese

- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 lb ground beef
- ¼ onion diced
- 1 garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons ground cumin
- ½ jalapeño finely diced
- 1 jar of your favorite salsa
- salt and pepper
- ½ cup frozen green peas
- ½ box Kraft Mac n Cheese cooked
- ½ bunch of cilantro chopped
Cook Kraft Mac n Cheese as instructed on the package and set aside. You can also use leftovers.
Heat olive oil in skillet.
Add ground beef. Salt and pepper. Cook for 4-5 minutes until it’s no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
Add onion, garlic, cumin, jalapeño, salsa. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes. Taste for good measure.
Add Kraft Mac n Cheese. Combine the mixture.
Add green peas. Cook for 1 minute or until no longer frozen.
Top with cilantro.
Remove from heat and serve.
You can also use mac n cheese leftovers
