- 16 Oreo cookies
- 1 cup white melting chocolate wafers
- 1 cup dark melting chocolate wafers
- ½ cup crushed peppermint
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
Dip one Oreo about ¾ of the way into the white chocolate, twisting to coat all sides.
Place on the baking sheet and sprinkle with crushed peppermint.
Repeat with another 7 Oreos, dipping each one in white chocolate and topping with peppermint.
Repeat the process with the dark chocolate and the remaining 8 Oreos.
Let the cookies sit at room temperature until the chocolate is set.
Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for 10–15 minutes so the chocolate can set faster.
Storing Instructions: Store Peppermint Oreos in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. If your kitchen runs warm, you can store them in the refrigerator to keep the chocolate firm. Place parchment paper between layers to prevent sticking.
