Creamy Jalapeno Salsa

Creamy Jalapeño Salsa is a spicy Mexican salsa made with blistered jalapeños, onion, garlic, cilantro, olive oil, and vinegar. Smooth, flavorful, and easy to make, it’s perfect for tacos, carne asada, quesadillas, and dipping with tortilla chips.

Instructions

  • Add oil to a large skillet and add the jalapenos.
  • Cook until the skins are blistered.
  • Remove the skillet.
  • Add the onion and garlic cloves
  • Cook for 1 minute.
  • Let cool slightly before adding the jalapenos, onion, garlic, and any remaining olive oil into a blend.
  • Also add salt, water, white distilled vinegar, and cilantro.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Storage: Store the salsa in a glass container or an airtight container for 1 to 1 ½ weeks. 
This is a great recipe for when you have too many jalapenos and don't know what to do with it. 
Dairy-free and 100% vegan salsa.
