Ingredients

Instructions

  • Mix all the ingredients together.
  • Store in an airtight container.

To Use As a Dry Rub:

  • For 2 lbs of flank or skirt steak, use 2 tablespoon of the blend. Sprinkle generously with the seasoning on both sides. Let rest for 15 minutes before grilling.

To Use As A Marinade:

  • Place 2 lbs flank or skirt steak, 2 tablespoon of the seasoning, 2 tablespoon olive oil, and ½ cup white distilled vinegar (or lime juice) to a large sealable bag. Marinade for 1 hour to overnight. Then grill to desired doneness.

Notes

Storing Instructions: Place in an airtight container and in a dark place (like your cupboard). Keep away from light, heat, and moisture. Over time, the seasoning mix will lose its flavor and color. Use it within 6 months to a year for maximum flavor.
Make It Spicy: Use 1 teaspoon ground chile de arbol or ground cayenne. For a smokey flavor, add 1 teaspoon ground chipotle.
