Torta de Jamón

INGREDIENTS

Telera or bolillo Mayonnaise Ham slices Tomatoes Lettuce leaf thinly sliced Pickled jalapeños  Avocado slices optional

Cut the bread in half

You start with either a telera or bolillo. I like to remove the center. If you can’t find either of these Mexican bread, you can also use a baguette.

Assemble

From here, the assembly is a no brainer. Mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickled jalapeños, and of course, ham slices. You can also add avocado slices.

Enjoy!

Top with the other half of the bread. You can toast the sandwich for a few minutes on each side over a hot griddle.
