Oil Carrots peeled and diced Onion diced Lentils Water Garlic clove finely minced Salt Bay leaf Tomato sauce
Heat oil in a large stock pot and saute the carrots and onions. Then, rinse the lentils and add to the pot. Add water.
Add the garlic, salt, and bay leaf. Cook for 25 minutes.
Add the tomato sauce and cook until lentils are soft. Remove and discard the bay leaf.
Add a few slices of pickled jalapeños to this comforting and cozy bowl of goodness. Serve and enjoy!
