Durango Burger

INGREDIENTS

– Hamburger Buns – Ham – Bacon – Lettuce – Tomato – White Cheese (like Monterey Jack or Mozzarella) – Ground cumin – Garlic Powder – Salt and Pepper (not pictured) – Mayonnaise – Mustard – Ketchup – Pickled Jalapeños – Pineapple

Form patties, season with salt, cumin, and garlic powder. Mix seasoning into patties or season pre-formed ones. Makes 8 thin or 6 thick patties.

Season the meat

Heat grill to 400°F. Cook patties seasoned side down, close lid. Season other side. Add cheese after flipping. Skip seasoning if mixed in.

Grill the meat

Layer ingredients and use the condiments to "glue" them. Keep patties warm in a foil-covered dish at 300°F until ready to serve.
