Rub the rim of a glass with a lime wedge. Fresh lime is essential for this spicy margarita. It’ll act as the glue for the chile powder.
Pour Tajin (or chile powder) on a small plate. Press the rim of the glass into the Tajin until well coated.
Place jalapeño slices into a cocktail shaker. Using a muddler or the handle of a wooden spoon, muddle the jalapeño slices.
Add tequila, pineapple juice, orange liquor, and fresh ice. Shake until the outside of the shaker mists. Add ice and jalapeño slices to the glass, and garnish with a pineapple chunk. Pour the margarita into the glass.
