  • In a large skillet, add butter and onion.
  • Lower heat to low.
  • Next add the pinto beans.
  • Mash until smooth.
  • Add the jalapeno, garlic powder, salt.
  • Add the cream cheese.
  • Stir and cook for 1 minute.
  • Next add the mozzarella and crema mexicana.
  • Stir to combine.
  • Cook for 1 minute.
  • Taste for salt.
  • Serve with tortilla chips.
  • Enjoy!


Instead of Mozzarella you can use queso oaxaca.
