Roasted Tomatillo Salsa Verde

INGREDIENTS

Olive Oil Tomatillos Sliced onion Serrano pepper Garlic Cilantro Lime juice Salt

When the tomatillo is coming out of the husk, it is ripe. See above.

Choose ripe tomatillos

Place tomatillos, the onion, and serrano peppers and mix it all with olive oil under the broiler. Make sure the skin is black.

Roast the ingredients

Wash and rinse the cilantro before putting into the blender.

Choose fresh cilantro

Add the roasted tomatillos, onion, jalapeño, cilantro, lime, and salt into the blender and blend until smooth.

Blend until smooth
