Roasted hatch chiles Butter All-purpose flour Milk Garlic powder Salt Cream cheese Monterey Jack shredded
Dice the roasted hatch chiles and set aside until use.
In a large skillet, melt butter and flour.
With your whisk, combine the butter and flour as best you can. Do you see how the mixture is kinda bubbling? Time to add the milk slowly.
Add salt, garlic powder, cream cheese, and shredded cheese. More whisking and more whisking until smooth.
Allow to gently come to boil, whisking frequently, or until slightly thickened. Add the hatch chiles and mix well. Turn the heat off.
Garnish with green onions and serve with tortilla chips. Spicy and rich. It’s hard not to absolutely love this dip. Enjoy!
