Mexican Mashed Potatoes


Potatoes peeled and cut in half lengthwise Salt (for cooking potatoes) Whole milk Butter Shredded white cheese – mozzarella or Monterey Jack Jalapeño finely diced Ground cumin Salt Ground black pepper


Boil potatoes with salted water. Simmer until tender, and drain. Mash the potatoes, then add milk, butter, Monterey jack cheese, and jalapeño peppers. Add the cumin, salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Mix well.

Cook, mash and mix


For extra creaminess, use heavy cream instead of milk. Or, add half a bar of cream cheese for make really creamy mashed potatoes.
