Cebollitas Asadas

Cebollitas Asadas are a MUST at any Mexican barbecue. These Grilled Mexican Onions add a ton of flavor and are so easy to make. Serve next to carne asada, beans, and tortillas.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 bunch spring onions (or Cambray Onions)
  • 1 lime
  • 4 dashes Jugo Maggi (or soy sauce)

Instructions

  • Heat the grill.
  • Wash the onions, and pat dry.
  • Brush the onions with oil.
  • Place on the grill.
  • Cook for 20 minutes, turning once to cook evenly.
  • Drizzle with lime and Jugo Maggi.
  • Cover with aluminum foil until ready to serve.

Notes

Substitutions for Jugo Maggi: Worchestire Sauce or Soy Sauce.
Some people do not like to eat the green ends. That is totally optional.
