Cebollitas Asadas are a MUST at any Mexican barbecue. These Grilled Mexican Onions add a ton of flavor and are so easy to make. Serve next to carne asada, beans, and tortillas.
Servings: 4 servings
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 bunch spring onions (or Cambray Onions)
- 1 lime
- 4 dashes Jugo Maggi (or soy sauce)
Heat the grill.
Wash the onions, and pat dry.
Brush the onions with oil.
Place on the grill.
Cook for 20 minutes, turning once to cook evenly.
Drizzle with lime and Jugo Maggi.
Cover with aluminum foil until ready to serve.
Substitutions for Jugo Maggi: Worchestire Sauce or Soy Sauce.
Some people do not like to eat the green ends. That is totally optional.
