Thick and Fudgy Brownies

There is nothing like a thick and fudgy brownie with a tall glass of milk. Warm and straight out of the oven. Yum! This recipe will soon become a family favorite.

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In a large bowl, combine cocoa, flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, melt butter (or coconut oil, if using).
  • Mix sugar, eggs, and vanilla to cooled melted butter.
  • Combine butter mixture and cocoa mixture.
  • Spread batter into a greased and floured 8-inch square pan. If the batter is too thick to spread, add a splash of water.
  • Bake 25 to 30 minutes. Do not overcook.
