Molletes Dulces

Molletes Dulces are made of crispy, buttery breads sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. They are perfect for breakfast or as a snack.

Ingredients

  • 2 bolillos (or telera, birote, french bread)
  • 4 tablespoon butter (add more or less if needed)
  • 2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (add more, depending on taste)
  • 4 teaspoon sugar (add more, depending on taste)

Instructions

  • Slice the bolillos in half.
  • Butter each slice of 1 tablespoon of butter.
  • Add more or less, if needed.
  • Place under the broiler for 3-4 minutes, or until the edges are crispy.
  • Sprinkle each bread with ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon.
  • Sprinkle each bread with 1 teaspoon of sugar.
  • Add more or less, depending on taste.
