Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 pork chops boneless
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • ¼ onion sliced
  • 1 apple sliced
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup white wine
  • 1 tablespoon grainy mustard
  • 1 fresh sprig of thyme
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil.
  • Add salt and pepper to pork chops.
  • Sear pork chops on each side 4-5 minutes until brown and done.
  • Remove from pan.
  • Add onion and apples. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Add chicken broth, wine grainy mustard, and thyme.
  • Stir to combine.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Return pork chops to the pan.
  • Taste for good measure.
  • Enjoy.

Notes

Note: Anything stuffed will take longer to cook thoroughly.
These Skillet Pork Chops with Apples and Onions will be done quicker, yes, but you can’t forget to sear the meat. Searing is essential.
