Spicy Brown Sugar Bacon Crack

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Line a baking pan with wax paper.
  • Unroll the crescent rolls into one single plane of dough, sealing in any gaps. Stretch the dough out evenly.
  • Prick the dough with a fork all over. Set aside.
  • Cook bacon. Drain. Let it cool and crumble into pieces.
  • Drizzle the dough with the agave syrup.
  • Sprinkle with half the brown sugar.
  • Top with bacon, cumin, cayenne, and remaining brown sugar.
  • Bake for approx. 25 minutes or until caramelized.
  • Remove from the oven. Let cool before breaking into pieces.

Notes

Stretch out the dough with your hands as much as you can. I placed it with over wax paper, but you can use a nonstick baking pan.
The brown sugar and the croissant bread tame the heat DOWN.
