Disclosure: I received a sample of the Casa Noble Tequila and a gift card for editorial purposes, but my love for margaritas is mine alone.
It is almost my wedding. We have guest coming in from out of town. Gifts are starting to arrive. The nerves are kicking in. I love my wine, but I know some people don’t really understand wine. As a good host for pre-wedding activities, I have to think about everyone coming. Since we’re getting married on National Margarita Day, I thought, why not make a fun Lime Margarita for our guests? 🙂
Here’s something you probably do or do not know about Mexicans and their tequila. We sip our tequila little by little from a shot glass. Some people will try to impress others, but shots do not happen each time the tequila bottle comes out.
So far, I have made this Lime Margarita a few times, and it seriously rocks. I made it in a big, huge pitcher for everyone to pour as little or as much they wanted. The best part for me is that it is not too sweet. Some people like sweet cocktails, but that is so NOT me. This cocktail caters to both sweet and non-sweet cocktail drinkers. That is why it is perfect for entertaining.
Now that I now I share my wedding anniversary with National Margarita Day, I think we all know what I’ll be drinking every year on February 22nd. It will be a hard day to forget, let’s hope he remembers our anniversary too. Maybe the Lime Margarita will help jog his memory. LOL.
