This summer I grilled at least once a week. There are only so many burgers and hot dogs you can eat. That’s when I decided to try something different.
I popped over the Walmart and saw Jack’s Pizza. A light bulb went off. Have you ever had grilled pizza? The adventurous cook in me wanted to try it. I bought two Jack’s Pizzas just in case I burned one. Yes, even I make mistakes when I cook. You can check out Jack’s Pizza on Facebook: CLICK HERE
Here’s what you do. Go to the grill and crank that baby up to 400 degrees F, leaving the side burners on low heat.
I wouldn’t recommend using a charcoal grill. You want to control the temperature as much as possible, and charcoal has ups and downs. Definitely don’t recommend a smoker to cook this.
Take the wrapper and the cardboard off of your Jack’s Pizza. Place the pizza directly on the grill and cook for 6-8 minutes. Rotate the pizza then cook for another 6-8 minutes. It’s that easy! And while you’re out grilling, the kids can be playing outside. Quality time well spent. #MyGoodLife #CollectiveBias
Cream Cheese Salsa Dip
½ package of cream cheese
2 ounces salsa roja mexicana
2 tablespoons milk
Directions: Put into the food processor and blend everything together. Serve and enjoy.
I love pepperoni pizza, but I kinda NEED spicy. It’s gotten to the point where I will even put a little cayenne to my hot chocolate. BUT, I have a 7-year-old who doesn’t have a sophisticated palate yet. My Cream Cheese Salsa Dip is my way of getting my spicy fix and not burning my son’s tongue.
While you’re out on the grill, take the cream cheese out. Let it come to room temperature. I still add a little milk to get it going. Then add your favorite salsa. Even the can in the jar is fine. Just don’t tell my mother. 🙂 She’s a firm believer in making salsa from scratch.
This is the easiest dipping sauce EVER! My Little red really likes my Cream Cheese Salsa Dip with his pizza. You can always serve it with chips, but for me, it’s perfect with pepperoni pizza.
