Roasted Tomatillo Salsa Verde is one of the easiest Mexican salsas to make at home. Only a few ingredients and you get a robust and tasty appetizer that’s full of amazing flavors.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 6 tomatillos
  • ¼ onion, sliced
  • 2 serrano chilis
  • 1 garlic
  • Handful of cilantro
  • Juice 1 lime
  • Salt to taste
  1. Mix tomatillos, onion, and serrano chilis with olive oil.
  2. Add to a cookie sheet.
  3. Place under the broiler for 7 minutes.
  4. Turn everything then return to the broiler for another 7 minutes.
  5. Let cool.
  6. Add to a blender along with garlic, cilantro, lime, and salt.
  7. Blend until smooth.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
