Camarones al Mojo de Ajo is a yummy and traditional Mexican recipe made with succulent shrimp in a butter garlic sauce. It’s so delicious you will want to lick your plate clean.
  • 1 lb medium shrimp
  • 1 stick of butter, divided
  • 1 head of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Chopped cilantro (topping)
  1. Peel, devein, and wash shrimp.
  2. Set aside until ready to use.
  3. In a blender, add ½ stick of butter, garlic, olive oil, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
  4. Blend until smooth.
  5. In a large skillet, melt the remaining stick of butter.
  6. Add all of the garlic mixture from the blender.
  7. Melt. About 1 minute.
  8. Add the raw shrimp.
  9. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until shrimp is pink.
  10. Serve.
  11. Top shrimp with butter sauce and chopped cilantro.
  12. Enjoy.
