Wine Wall

Coronado loves wine. We have a few wine bars in town, even a tasting room near the Hotel Del Coronado. It’s no big shocker to know that Andrew Mariani of Scribe Winery is flying into this small town for a special wine dinner event at Leroy’s Kitchen + Lounge. Andrew along with his brother, Adam, is part of the “Terroir Two” as the New York Times recently called them. They have gained fame as two of the best known winemakers in the US. On April 8th, Andrew has selected several of Scribe’s sustainable varietals for an exclusive 5-course dinner prepared by Executive Chef, Tim Kolanko.

They also have live music a few times a week. It’s right in the heart of Coronado, walking distance to everything.

I’ve always loved french toast but it was one weekend at Dave & Busters when I was still in college that I remember having some type of pecan, pineapple fancy schmancy french toast for the first time and then I realized how french toast was meant to be done ; )
